Good things with remote therapy!

Good things happen with remote therapy!

This is the child’s view of remote therapy.

Then, mine.

Sitting in this chair.

In front of a camera.

Planning for the ones joining me.

Using my bag of therapy tricks, curated over time.

Talking.

Modeling.

Cueing.

Showing materials.

Creating interactions.

Counting responses.

Cheering them on!

There’s progress!

Every single child is doing great!

It’s not face-to-face therapy but learning is taking place!

Here are some of the advantages:

  1.  Health and safety are paramount.
  2. The child is seen in their natural environment.
  3. Uninterrupted therapy can continue.
  4. Standing appointments provide routine.
  5. There is social contact.
  6. A parent comes into the session for coaching.

That’s a great list of advantages!

  1. Right here is the right blog for anyone who wants to understand this topic. You realize so much its almost tough to argue with you (not that I actually will need toÖHaHa). You certainly put a fresh spin on a subject that has been written about for many years. Excellent stuff, just excellent!

  2. Thanks for your blog, nice to read. Do not stop.

  3. Can I just say what a relief to discover somebody who truly knows what theyre talking about on the internet. You actually realize how to bring a problem to light and make it important. A lot more people really need to look at this and understand this side of your story. I was surprised you are not more popular since you most certainly possess the gift.
