Milestones matter!

Our little people need to reach some really important milestones by the time they are 5 years old!  We know she should be getting taller and should weigh more.  So we measure her length on the changing table and put her on the vegetable scale at the grocery store!  But she should be growing in other important ways, too  —  playing, learning, speaking, acting, and moving.

And … now … there’s an App for that!  This free App is made for IOS and Android systems and comes in English and Spanish.  Milestones can be tracked from age 2 months to 5 years!

This app is provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).  There are easy-to-use illustrated developmental checklists.  Photos and videos illustrate each milestone.  So tracking a little person can be fun!

This app can track all those critical areas — playing, learning, speaking, acting, and moving.  The result is that you have guided observations to share with your child’s doctor at those well baby visits.

Activities and tips are suggested so you can help your child’s development.

Parents can find out what to do if they are concerned about their child’s growth.
